Overview

Ådehlÿ Rel̄ Rex̄ewtÿh was founded durring the late 14th century in fall of the year 1283, by Tegme Zÿhbafral. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Ådehlÿ Rel̄ Rex̄ewtÿh was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ådehlÿ Rel̄ Rex̄ewtÿh is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Ådehlÿ Rel̄ Rex̄ewtÿh is buildings have been located at convienant points along the cliff Ådehlÿ Rel̄ Rex̄ewtÿh was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the broad cobblestone streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The town posesses a mighty albit amaturly crafted stone wall. It was built using querried stone blocks and posesses all of the standard defencive features, including a few watch towers. While it would last against a siege, the wall's outdated and simplistic construction method percludes the possability of Ådehlÿ Rel̄ Rex̄ewtÿh weathering a full scale bombardment durring a siege. The budget focused millitary grade defenses have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

Ådehlÿ Rel̄ Rex̄ewtÿh has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Ådehlÿ Rel̄ Rex̄ewtÿh ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. The locals seem to have responded to their slow downfall by recreating Ådehlÿ Rel̄ Rex̄ewtÿh as one of the strictest places imaginable. Everyone’s actions are clearly directed by laws they keep in heart and mind at all times. Orderly byond order is a phrase which the town brings to mind.

The arch served as the style's chief structural element, with flanking columns serving as buttresses or decorations. While the general shape of their structures could be generously described as simplistic, the use of these arches and columns created a most distinct ascetic which is easily distinguishable on sight to armatures and experts alike.

History

Ådehlÿ Rel̄ Rex̄ewtÿh is in secret rebellion against their ostensible liege, having cut deals with his enemies, plotted to betray him for their own gain, or bridled under his tyranny and sought a better lord. The community’s leadership is all in on this plot, and outside viceroys or representatives are being kept carefully ignorant of the reality. The common folk may be oblivious to the truth, though they’ll doubtless have felt the same motivations and promptings that convinced their leaders to turn traitor.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century the Cursed Fates Range, an iconic vista located neare Ådehlÿ Rel̄ Rex̄ewtÿh, proved to be volcanic when the range erupted. The eruption was isolated to the area around Ådehlÿ Rel̄ Rex̄ewtÿh, which was swallowed in ash, lava flows, and pyroclastic gasses. Ådehlÿ Rel̄ Rex̄ewtÿh lost 297 people, 284 livestock, and 91 buildings in the disaster. The event is forever remembered as the Day of Cursed Fates's Wrath.
